Renowned billionaire businessman James Crown tragically lost his life on Sunday in a car racing accident in Woody Creek, Colorado. Crown, who had just celebrated his 70th birthday on the day of his passing, was involved in a single-vehicle crash at Aspen Motorsports Park, where he collided with a barrier.

James Crown served as a Board member of JPMorgan Chase since the early 1990s and as a Board director at General Dynamics, Crown made significant contributions to these esteemed organizations.He also held the influential role of chairman and CEO at his family business, Henry Crown and Company, an esteemed investment firm.

The news of Crown's sudden demise deeply saddened his colleagues and friends, including JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon. A representative of the Crown family appealed to the media, requesting privacy and understanding during this difficult time of mourning.

While a resident of Chicago, Crown frequently visited Colorado due to his additional leadership positions in both states.
